ENGAGING WITH OUR COMMUNITIES

Since the inception of Dickenson, we have been working with the Badri Narayan Saha DAV Public School, a Primary, Secondary, and High School based out of the north-eastern Mica and Coal mining town, Giridih. Over the past 17 years, thousands of students have passed through this institution, many of whom have made a mark in public life.

Dedicated to academic excellence, every student’s potential is realised, both inside and outside the classroom. With access to modern computer labs, science labs and transportation, we equip students with an education that is current and empowering. The school is proudly affiliated and managed by the Dayanand Anglo-Vedic school system (DAV), which is the single largest non-government education society in India, as well as the Second Board of Secondary Education (CBSE).

The recent addition of Residential Facilities marks the beginning of a new era for the school. The construction of two new, state-of-the-art hostel wings will have the capacity to sleep 300 additional students. Incorporating residential facilities has been a big step for the school and the local community, increasing access and impacting the rate at which students complete the education life-cycle.
